Proper nutrition plays a vital role in a child’s development. Our kitchen staff pride themselves in preparing balanced and nutritious homemade meals using only fresh ingredients.
Toddlers can only be alert enough to learn new things when they are well rested. All our toddlers take a two and a half hours nap in the afternoon and our teachers create a sleeping atmosphere.
Sensory play is any activity that stimulates children’s senses: touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Stimulating the senses helps children develop thinking, language, social-emotional, and physical skills. This may sometimes involve messy play – when substances such as paint/sand/jelly is being used, we always ensure that it is safe to consume.
Our teachers plan activities that will encourage and support the development of fine-and gross motor skills to prepare them for a good pencil grip later on (to name but one).
Teachers will narrate all daily activities, have small theme discussions, and create opportunities for communication through play. Lots of songs will be sung and stories form part of every day.
Potty training starts from 24 months and it is our aim to have children fully potty trained by the time they are 36 months old. When potty training starts, we need the parents’ absolute support at home.
Playball offers 6 different sports and movement programs offering a fun and engaging way to keep your child active and thriving!
Monkeynastix is a creative movement education program with a blend of creativity, music, and basic training. Children enhance their flexibility, balance, strength, agility, coordination, and body awareness

The difference of physical and mental development between months in the first three years of a child’s life is much bigger than in the years thereafter. That is why we do not group children according to their birth year and “promote” them to a next class the next year, but instead our babies and toddlers are grouped according to months old so we can better focus on their specific needs for their specific age. This means that they may progress to the next class any time during the year that may be appropriate for them.
